Description
Wine Spectator reviewed this Porto very positively with the
following comments:
“Lots of dried fruit, toffee and caramel on the nose. Full-bodied
and very sweet, with lots of fruit and a medium toffee finish. Very
young, refreshed style to me. But I like it.
Rated 85 points.
Aged Tawny is perhaps the most versatile Port style and is
appreciated for its delicacy, complexity, and fine balance. Smith
Woodhouse Ten Year Old Tawny has surprisingly vibrant red accents
with a light fruity nose. Aromatic flavors of dried apricots, baking
spices and plums are completed with a crisp finish. This 10 Year Old
Tawny is a blend of barrel-aged wines that have been cask aged and
it is bottled ready to drink.
