Description
Full of dark cherry fruits with the spicy, peppery hints that have
become signature characteristics of MadFish Shiraz. The palate is
rich and concentrated without being heavy and tannic.
Rated 93 by Stephen Tanzer! His comments:
"Dark red. Spicy, peppery aromas of wild red bnerries, mocha,
cinnamon, clove and molasses. Suave in yexture, with creamy crushed
blackberry and chocolate flavors accented by a light peppery aspect.
The gentle tnnic finish emphasizes slightly jammy dark berries."
Origin
The story of the
MadFish label begins on the beautiful and wild Great Southern coast
near the coastal town of Denmark. There resides the spectatular
MadFish bay, so called by the locals because when on the occasion
that two tides meet, the fish in the bay jump out of the water like
"mad fish".
The pure, fresh, characteristics of this stunning coastline are
mirrored in the MadFish wines which are developed with enjoyment,
lifestyle and drinkability in mind. A popular choice in Western
Australia and the world over, they are often enjoyed with seafood,
sunshine, sea air and good company. Initially the MadFish collection
included Premium White, and soon after the Premium Red. Today,
several varieties are produced, including the highly regarded
Chardonnay and Shiraz.
