Description
Barbaresco is a serious red wine produced from the Nebbiolo grape in the lower altitudes of Piemonte. The areas lower down produce a dryer style wine with subtleties that are overshadowed in the riper, more complex fruit of the Barolo country cousin.

You’ll note a hint of truffles and earthiness in the bouquet of this wine along with a touch of tar, some bitter almond and a flavor of ripe raspberries.

These wines are powerful presentations that have the capacity for ultra long ageing and supreme levels of complexity.

 Origin
Piemonte is a region of Italy at the base of the Alps running through the captivating landscape of the Monferrato hills. Barolo and Barbaresco derive their names from the villages of the same name and are without a doubt the finest red wines of the region. Both are produced from the Nebbiolo grape and have specific similarities.

Dezzani is now operated by three siblings and they have successfully combined the best of old world tradition with advancements which have come largely from state of the art operations in the U.S.
