Description/Palate
Nose - A bright, refreshing blend of melon & fig,
Palate - The melon and fig flavors come softly onto the palate, mixing with a hint of mineral.  This leads to a long crisp finish with a light citrus note.
Background

Production of the Chateau Haute Brande is accomplished in a relatively new facility located near the Atlantic on the strip of land know as the "Entre-Deux-Mers," translated to explain its position between two seas. The micro climate allows for very warm days and cooler nights which enhance the fruit nature of the grape and insure the wines will have substantial fruit acidity adding freshness and a lean character to the wine. Yvon Mau is an importer of note here in the USA and brings in good "value" wines to American wine lovers.

This wine will enhance and accent a wide range of chicken & light pasta dishes.
