Description
This Cabernet Sauvignon has
wonderful fruit character and could be tasted next to Cab’s well
into the $40 price range with favorable comparison. It is powerful
and hearty with a classic smooth finish on
par with well-aged Bordeaux. This should come as no surprise as all
of the wine produced is 100% barrel aged bringing out nuances only
achieved by wine and oak contact.

Food Parings
This well fleshed Cabernet would do
nicely with full styled foods including grilled meats, a complex
stew, aged artisan style cheeses and wild game.
Cellar Hints
Keep it cool (55-65 degrees F).
It will age well for 5 or more years
and is drinking fine now. It would benefit from 30 minutes breathing
before serving or offer a premium experience if decanted.
