Description
We can do no better in describing this wine than this quote taken
from Robert Parker Jr. after evaluating this product:
“The impressive 1927 Pedro Ximenez Solera, from a solera begun 80
years ago, boasts a dark amber color as well as an extraordinary
nose of crème brulee, liquefied nuts, marmalade, and maple syrup.
Huge and viscous, yet neither cloyingly sweet nor heavy, it is a
profound effort…”
Parker rates this wonderful Sherry a 96!
Cellering
Sherry traditionally cellars for many years, mellowing and becoming more
subtle in the process. This one will drink well longer than most of us
will live.
